I find we can sell only a small lot of bandy in this place--a good article could be sold for $1.25 not more. Therefore, if you can sell what you have in Louisville at anything like a fair price I would do so. Tell John that it is important that the negroes that I have here should be sent off and there is danger in leaving them here much longer--I am getting nothing for these services--tell him delay is dangerous.
