Letter signed A.B., St. Louis, to James Gordon Bennett, N.Y. High praise for St. Louis, its location; steamer traffic on the river, brick houses, the Planters House, Court House; Bloody Island; shot tower being constructed here. On Sunday last a mob was raised to pull down medical buildings belonging to the Catholic University because of careless disposition of dissected bodies.
