Typed letter from Ruth Duell, Meadow Road, Riverside, Connecticut, to Charles [van Ravenswaay]. Expresses her anxiety about the bound volumes of Patience Worth material reaching the Missouri Historical Society. Writes, “I am anxious for two reasons, first because she [Mrs. Smith] is surrounded by persons who are unsympathetic to your having them, and second because I did no work on them there, planning to come to Saint Louis as soon as they were in your possession.” (1 item), [1957 Aug]
