Scope and Contents The William Glasgow Bruce Carson Photograph Collection contains photographs and two albums showing members of Carson's extended family from ca. 1860 to ca. 1982, with most photos taken between 1870 and 1935. William G.B. Carson's family is descended from St. Louis's first mayor, William Carr Lane, and family members were involved in prominent social circles.
