Scope and Contents The collection consists primarily of correspondence from Charles M. Day to his girlfriend (and later his wife) Marguerite King while he was stationed in France during World War I, and letters of their son Henry P. Day to them while he was attending school in Massachusetts and while he was stationed in North Africa and Italy during World War II.
