Biography
HOK is a global firm with offices and projects throughout the world. It was founded in St. Louis in 1955 by George Hellmuth, Gyo Obata, and George Kassabaum as a successor to the firm of Hellmuth, Yamasaki, and Leinweber. Early projects included Lambert Airport Terminal, St. Louis Priory Church, and James. S. McDonnell Planetarium. HOK handles a diverse range of projects, specializing in commercial/corporate buildings and educational/research facilities, including local schools and colleges.
